The Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the
Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960.
Upcoming Events: Dates and
locations for the 2009 CVC Spring and Fall Hunt Tests are
being determined. It is currently expected that the Spring Hunt
Tests will be held in April, and the Fall Hunt Tests on December 12 and
13, 2009. Premiums and running orders for all hunt tests will be posted
